A native of Niagara Falls, New York, Cindy was born on September 6, 1957, to James Dale Wells and Virginia June Manners Wells. A Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home in Callahan, Florida, where visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This event will be officiated by Pastor John Aaron White, inviting family and friends to gather and reflect on Cindy’s remarkable journey, as well as share stories and memories that illustrated her impact on their lives. Personal celebrations like this have become more prevalent as families look for ways to honor their loved ones while reflecting individual personalities and life stories. According to A Nation of Moms, these celebrations often include personalized elements such as themed décor and favorite foods, making them a tribute that resonates deeply.

The recent trend toward end-of-life celebrations provides an opportunity for families to create meaningful memories, focusing on the joy and love shared, rather than solely on loss. In fact, modern commemorative practices are evolving, and more families are choosing options like eco-friendly burials and themed events that symbolize the life lived. This reflects a broader societal shift—embracing individuality while offering an uplifting experience for those left behind.

Cindy Lish will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
