Wauchula, Florida, USA - In a troubling display of reckless behavior, a 43-year-old man from Wauchula, Florida, has found himself in serious trouble with the law after a traffic stop revealed a substantial drug stash. On June 7, authorities pulled over Justin Eugene Spiker around 11:48 p.m. on US 17 at Sand Mountain Road for failing to maintain his lane. The situation quickly escalated during the stop as Spiker exhibited signs of impairment, including slurred speech and unsteady movements.

As the Polk County deputies assessed the situation, they discovered a clear baggie containing a crystal substance on the vehicle’s center console, which later turned out to be methamphetamine. Spiker didn’t help his case as he allegedly tried to dispose of another baggie of meth by throwing it under the patrol car. A thorough search of Spiker revealed three additional baggies—two containing meth and one with fentanyl. In total, authorities seized over 62 grams of meth and 1.5 grams of fentanyl, alongside a separate baggie of empty smaller bags that hinted at an intent to distribute, as reported by Tampa Free Press.
