Born on December 15, 1952, Carol was known for her vibrant spirit and strong connections with family and friends, particularly from her time at the University of New Hampshire, where she forged lifelong friendships with Carol Wein and Ronda Flashen.
Carol’s professional journey took off as a financial analyst at BAE Systems from 2003 until her passing in 2025. Before that, she was employed at Groundwater Technology, where she built a foundation of professional excellence. This remarkable career reflected her dedication and talent in the financial sector, resonating with the growing number of alumni who have become successful contributors to various fields from UNH, an institution noted for its strong programs in Business Administration, among others reports.
A Life of Creative Passions
Beyond the professional realm, Carol was an avid music lover, with her heart firmly sewn into the melodies of The Beatles and the vibrant atmosphere of the Newport Jazz Festival. She often delighted in Broadway musicals, especially her cherished favorite, *The Wizard of Oz*. Her passion for the arts extended into her community involvement as she served as the treasurer of the Student Committee on Popular Entertainment (SCOPE) at UNH, fostering an appreciation for culture among her peers.
Gardening was another of Carol’s passions. As a founding member of the Garden Club at the Villages of Kessler Farm, she took great pride in nurturing the beauty of her surroundings. Family traditions were lovingly maintained, particularly during the holidays when she could be found baking cookies using cherished family recipes, a simple yet powerful way to bring joy to loved ones.
Celebrating a Life Well-Lived
Carol was an enthusiastic tennis fan who attended major tournaments, including the US Open and Wimbledon in 2024. Her love for the sport was mirrored in her zest for spending holidays in Florida with family, a picturesque retreat where she created lasting memories with her loved ones. She is survived by her brothers, Alan (Carolyn) Bailey and Richard (Jane) Bailey, along with several nieces and nephews who will undoubtedly carry on her spirit.
