Eugene, Oregon, United States - The excitement is palpable as the No. 20 Florida State women’s outdoor track and field team kicks off the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the prestigious Hayward Field in Eugene. Among the standout achievements, the women’s 4×100-meter relay team, featuring Lucy May Sleeman, Shenese Walker, Liana Tyson, and Joella Lloyd, placed an impressive fourth with a time of 42.93 seconds. Also in action was Brooke Mullins, who achieved a personal best of 9:56.80 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, marking the fifth-fastest time in FSU history. Meanwhile, the women’s 4×400-meter relay team—composed of Alyia Green, Tyra Wilson, Kaelyaah Liburd, and Takiyah Ferguson—impressed with a tenth-place finish, recording a time of 3:30.14, which stands as the sixth-fastest in FSU’s record books.
