Suwannee Avenue through Whispering Pine Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida - In a heartening show of community spirit, over 40 young adult volunteers from ASEZ WAO, which stands for Save the Earth from A to Z, are rallying together this Sunday, July 20, 2025, for a community cleanup. The event will take place along U.S. Highway 192, specifically from Partin Settlement Road to Commerce Center Drive, and is set to run from 9 to 11 a.m. This initiative is part of ASEZ WAO’s wider “Terrestrial Ecosystem Protection” campaign, which empowers young adults across more than 30 countries to actively engage in environmental service and education.

The Florida Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway Program has partnered with ASEZ WAO to make this cleanup possible. By formally adopting a two-mile stretch of highway, ASEZ WAO volunteers commit to maintaining this area through regular cleanups over the next three years. This collaboration highlights the importance of community efforts in keeping Florida clean and green.

Community Participation and Impact

What’s particularly inspiring is the collective action that young adult volunteers in Osceola County are taking as part of this global movement. These local volunteers will join thousands of their peers worldwide engaging in similar neighborhood cleanups, emphasizing that every action counts in the quest for a cleaner planet.

ASEZ WAO is not merely an organization; it embodies a vision where young adults unite for a noble cause. Volunteers are encouraged to connect with nature, learn eco-friendly practices, and work hand-in-hand with local governments to make a tangible difference. This initiative isn’t just about picking up litter; it’s a call to action that fosters environmental stewardship within the community.

This day of action promises not only to beautify the area along Suwannee Avenue through Whispering Pine Boulevard in Kissimmee but to also ignite a spark of environmental consciousness among participants and residents alike.
