Meanwhile, the Discovery Center will host America 250 activities, also from 10 AM to 2 PM, featuring patriotic crafts and STEM activities that are sure to inspire the young ones.
Now, if you’re up for more excitement in the afternoon and evening, make your way to the Circle Square Commons Patriotic Celebration. Gates open at 4 PM, and the opening ceremony kicks off at 4:30 PM. You’ll get to enjoy live performances by Eirinn Abu, Rocky and the Rollers, Hayfire, and Live Effect. And don’t forget the grand finale—fireworks at 9 PM that promise to light up the sky!
Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza
But wait, there’s more! At 5 PM, the Marion County America 250 Patriotic Parade will wind its way from the Marion Technical Institute to Veterans Memorial Park. Expect to see historical floats, cultural performances, and local organizations showcasing their pride. It’s going to be quite the spectacle!
As night falls, brace yourself for synchronized fireworks at 9 PM—happening at four different locations: Veterans Memorial Park (Ocala), Belleview Sports Complex, Wrigley Fields (Citra), and Dunnellon High School. Plus, you won’t want to miss the fireworks at Circle Square Commons and over Lake Weir at Eaton’s Beach. It’s going to be a sight to behold!
Oh, and just a heads-up—Ocala will not be hosting the previous “Patriotic Skies” evening show in 2026, so make sure to catch all the new attractions instead! For more details on the festivities, you can check out the full schedule here.
