Today is the 3rd of March, 2026, and we have exciting news for coffee lovers in Florida! Dutch Bros Coffee, a beloved drive-through coffee chain, opened its first location in the state in 2024 and has quickly expanded to over 30 shops. With a commitment to high-energy service and colorful, delicious drinks, Dutch Bros is making waves in the Sunshine State.
Founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in Oregon, Dutch Bros started with a simple pushcart serving coffee. Over the years, they’ve transitioned from a dairy business to a full-fledged coffee empire, now boasting 1,136 locations across 25 states. Their headquarters is located in Grants Pass, Oregon, but they are moving their main office to Tempe, Arizona, to centralize employee support. Known for their vibrant atmosphere, the baristas, affectionately called “Broistas,” serve up a menu that includes espressos, blended coffee, iced teas, lattes, and delightful pastries.
New Locations Coming Soon
Florida is about to see even more Dutch Bros locations! Two new shops are set to open soon: one at 3195 W. New Haven Ave. in Melbourne and another at 4530 Hickory Hill Blvd. in Titusville. These additions will enhance the growing presence of Dutch Bros in the state, which has already seen substantial interest from locals. However, the USA TODAY NETWORK Florida has not yet received an official list of additional upcoming shops for 2026.
Looking ahead, Dutch Bros has exciting plans for 2025 as well. New locations are expected to pop up in four cities, including North Port, Florida (14914 Tamiami Trail), Jefferson City, Missouri (1708 Missouri Blvd.), and two cities in Georgia: Lawrenceville (2505 Buford Drive) and Tucker (4545 Hugh Howell Road). These openings are slated for the last quarter of 2025, further expanding their reach and inviting more customers to enjoy their signature drinks.
The Coffee Craze
The coffee market is booming worldwide, with coffee being one of the most popular hot beverages. As global sales continue to reach new heights, many coffee chains, including Dutch Bros, have positioned themselves to cater to this growing demand. Customers flock to coffee shops for a variety of specialties, from filter coffee to iced lattes and cold brews. The atmosphere in these shops is often lively, with professional baristas expertly preparing each drink.
Whether you’re a fan of a “Golden Eagle Breve,” which is Dutch Bros’ most popular drink featuring vanilla and caramel with a drizzle of caramel, or you prefer a classic espresso, there’s something for everyone at Dutch Bros. As they continue to grow, they are sure to become a staple in the coffee culture of Florida.
