As the sun sets on July 4, Osceola County promises a vibrant tapestry of festivities to honor Independence Day. From parades to fireworks sweeping across the skies, the community is set to celebrate freedom with a blend of family-friendly events and lively entertainment. To kick things off, the Celebration Town Center will host its annual parade at 8 a.m. from Celebration Town Hall, setting the tone for a day brimming with local pride.

For the evening, the festivities will ramp up with musical performances starting at 5 p.m. featuring DJ City Beat, followed by Audio Exchange at 6:30 p.m. The grand finale will unfold with a stunning fireworks display at 9:20 p.m., illuminating the night sky.

Main Events and Activities

Another highlight will be Kissimmee’s Monumental Fourth at Lakefront Park, commencing at 7 p.m. This event boasts a live concert, a Kids Power Zone courtesy of KUA, a variety of food trucks, and will culminate in fireworks at 9 p.m. over the sparkling waters of Lake Tohopekaliga.

In addition to these grand spectacles, Old Town will host its charming “Stars, Stripes & V8s” celebration from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring live music, an antique car show, and a festive fireworks display. For those heading towards St. Cloud Lakefront Park, the “4th on the Lake” celebration starts at 4 p.m. with a packed schedule, including a car show, kids’ beach bash, cornhole tournament, and a patriotic bike parade at 6 p.m. Fireworks there will light up the night at 9:15 p.m.

Resorts and hotels are also getting in on the action. The Reunion Resort will host poolside mermaid performances and BBQ specials, running from July 3 to July 6, while the Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration will feature poolside grilling and live DJ sets on July 4 and 5. Meanwhile, the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate promises family fun with a grand fireworks display scheduled from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Theme Parks Join the Celebrations

Diving into a world of magic, the theme parks are pulling out all the stops this Independence Day. SeaWorld Orlando will host its mesmerizing fireworks show over the central lake, set beautifully to music. Guests can reserve seating for an added touch of luxury starting at $24.99. Meanwhile, LEGOLAND Florida will surprise visitors with limited-time treats and a 3D LEGO fireworks display included with admission.

Universal Orlando Resort steps up its game with celebrations at both Universal Studios Florida and CityWalk. Attendees will enjoy live DJs, bands, stilt walkers, and a special pyrotechnic display at 10 p.m. The famous Mega Movie Parade and the CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular lagoon show will add an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.

Community Highlights

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum is providing free admission during the day from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while Rock & Brews will celebrate with live music and specials running July 4–6. For adventure seekers, the Showcase of Citrus offers off-road monster-truck rides, free for first responders, on July 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
