Auburndale Man Faces Eight Charges in Disturbing Voyeurism Case

Auburndale, Florida, USA - In a troubling incident that underscores ongoing concerns about crime in the region, Tyler Mountain, a 28-year-old resident of Auburndale, Florida, has been taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), facing a multitude of charges including burglary, voyeurism, stalking, and loitering and prowling. The case, which has sent ripples through the community, began on April 30, 2023, when residents of a local mobile home park reported suspicious activities that turned out to be serious violations of privacy.

Residents expressed alarm after noticing Mountain allegedly recording or photographing individuals inside their homes using his cell phone. Following the complaints, detectives discovered evidence suggesting that he had entered the curtilage of one victim’s residence to spy on her twice. Additionally, Mountain is accused of stepping onto a second victim’s landing outside her home with voyeuristic intentions on two separate occasions.
