Today is March 4, 2026, and residents of Haines City have some important updates to note regarding local infrastructure improvements. The city is gearing up for significant construction work that will begin on March 16 and is expected to last until approximately March 30. This initiative is part of Haines City’s ongoing efforts to enhance its infrastructure for the benefit of the community.
The work area will be located on 30th Street and will extend eastward along Pryor Road. During this period, there will be daily rolling lane closures on Pryor Road, which means that through traffic will not be permitted. Residents living along Pryor Road will still have access to their homes and will be guided by on-site personnel to the safest available routes, either via 30th Street or Johnson Avenue. It’s essential for drivers to exercise caution near the construction site and to heed all posted signs and the instructions of traffic personnel.
