Summer’s in full swing here in Wilton Manors, and the excitement is palpable! With Pride Month just around the corner, the buzz is all about the upcoming Wilton Manors Pride Parade 2026. Mark your calendars because this event promises to be a spectacular celebration of love, diversity, and equality. Participants are encouraged to don their brightest Pride flags and slogan T-shirts, making it a vibrant day of visibility and awareness for the LGBTQ community.

The parade is set to take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 3 PM to 11 PM along Wilton Drive, stretching from NE 20th Street to Five Points. This year marks a significant milestone—the 26th anniversary of the Stonewall Pride celebration, named in honor of the historic 1969 Stonewall Riots. With an expected attendance of over 50,000 folks, it’s bound to be an unforgettable day!

What to Expect

So, what’s on the agenda? Well, aside from the Pride Parade itself, which kicks off at 8 PM with the dazzling Glow Night Parade, there’s so much more to look forward to! The festival will feature 8+ stages, more than 100 vendors, and 15 bars within the festival footprint. Whether you’re in the mood for delicious food, unique shopping, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

But wait, there’s more! The Pride Week leading up to the main event is packed with activities. Starting June 13, FLoatarama will take to the waters for the largest LGBTQ+ Pride-on-Water event, featuring a decorated flotilla and yacht party. Proceeds from this event benefit LGBTQ youth scholarships, so you can have fun while supporting a good cause. Other highlights include the Eagle Block Party on June 19 and the Splash Pool Party T-Dance on June 21.

Getting There and Staying Safe

Transportation won’t be a hassle, but plan ahead! The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is just about 6 miles away, and rideshare is highly recommended since Wilton Drive will be closed to traffic during the event. Parking is available for $20, but private lots might range from $10 to $30. Just keep in mind, it’ll be hot and humid—average highs around 85-86°F, with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. So, hydrate and dress comfortably for the festivities!

Oh, and a friendly reminder: this is a cashless event, so make sure you’ve got your phone or credit card on hand. Arriving early is a smart move if you want to snag the best spots for the parade. And leave the big bags at home—only bring essentials!

More Than Just a Parade

The spirit of inclusion and support for the LGBTQ community is at the heart of this event. It’s not just about the parade; it’s about coming together to celebrate our identities and advocate for equality. The Stonewall Day event, which took place earlier this year in Los Angeles, highlighted the legacy of the Stonewall Riots through music, performances, and discussions, connecting current generations to this important history. Events like these remind us of how far we’ve come and how much further we still need to go.

With all these festivities lined up, Wilton Manors is gearing up for a summer of love and pride. Make sure to check out the full schedule of events and get ready to join in the fun! This Pride Month, let’s show up, support one another, and make some unforgettable memories together!
