Among the glories of the past two and a half decades, the Large and Small School Player of the Year awards have paved the path for countless talented athletes. Notably, the awards were consolidated into an exciting annual Palm Beach County High School Sports Awards Show in 2022, ensuring that the legacy continues with fresh celebration and recognition each year. This year, the volleyball feature runs from July 14 to July 18, so keep an eye out for big announcements!

The Players‘ Journey

Over the years, Palm Beach County has seen athletic talent explode, beginning with exceptional performances like Julia Caner’s 12 kills per match in 2000, leading her team to the state championship. In 2023, players like Sarah Brodner made headlines with impressive stats, including her 239 kills—a testament to the rigorous training and commitment fostered in these young athletes.
