As the vibrant spring season takes hold in Florida, families are gearing up for a fun-filled Easter celebration. With numerous parks, churches, and organizations hosting special activities for children, there’s no shortage of excitement leading up to Easter Sunday on April 5, 2026. March is packed with events that perfectly set the stage for the Easter festivities. On March 7, the Hop Into Spring Event will take place at The Fountains at St. Johns, offering local vendors, live music, face painting, and bounce houses from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Best of all, entry is free, and proceeds will benefit I See You NICU. Just a day later, on March 8, the Spring Into Fun Event will unfold in Ponte Vedra Beach with similar activities, running from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Easter Egg Hunts and Community Fun
March 28 marks a busy day for Easter activities. At the Passion Fest at Lighthouse Church of God, kids up to 6th grade can enjoy egg hunts, scavenger hunts, and live music from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Meanwhile, the Adventure Landing Easter Egg Hunt will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring egg hunts on mini-golf courses and a visit from the Easter Bunny. A $5 donation per child will support the Volunteer Life-Saving Corps. For a fun-filled morning, don’t miss the Crosswater Community Church’s Spring on the Lawn event, also happening from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering egg hunts, food, and games, all for free.
Later that day, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, join the festivities at the Beaver Toyota’s Easter Eggstravaganza, where families can participate in egg hunts, face painting, and games, all at no cost. The excitement continues into March 29 with the Crescent Beach Baptist Church Egg Hunt from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, also offering free entry.
Leading Up to Easter Sunday
As we roll into April, the egg hunts keep coming! On April 2, kids can join the Palencia Park Easter Egg Hunt and the Veterans Park Easter Egg Hunt from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring photo ops with the Easter Bunny for children up to 8 years old, all for free.
The action ramps up on April 4 with the Eggstravaganza at The Village Church, where sensory-friendly egg hunts, crafts, and snacks await from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The Swiss Cove Christian Church Easter Egg Hunt will also be held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, offering games and treats. For those looking for more fun, join the festivities at the 365 Church’s Eggstravaganza from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, which includes community games and an egg hunt starting at 2:20 PM.
Finally, on Easter Sunday, families can participate in the Memorial Presbyterian Church Easter Egg Hunt from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by the First United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Both events are free and promise a delightful experience for children up to 5th grade.
