On March 9, 2026, the Florida women’s golf team showcased an extraordinary performance at the Gator Invitational, held at the Mark Bostick Golf Course. Ranked No. 7, the Gators dominated the tournament, celebrating their 10th win in the last 11 seasons. With a remarkable score of 820 (-20), Florida not only clinched the title but also set a new program record for a 54-hole tournament, surpassing the previous record by an impressive 15 shots. The Gators led the event from start to finish, entering the final day with a commanding 12-shot lead over No. 14 North Carolina, who ultimately finished in third place.
Junior Paula Francisco stole the spotlight by winning her first collegiate individual title, finishing with a score of 200 (-10). Her rounds of 68-65-67 included a second-round score of 65, which tied for the second-lowest round in program history. Francisco’s achievement broke a decade-old record for the lowest 54-hole score and marked her victory by five shots after enduring two runner-up finishes in her college career.
Team Highlights and Individual Performances
Florida’s performance was a true team effort, with all five golfers in the lineup finishing inside the top 12. Sophomore Siuue Wu achieved her career-best T2 finish, scoring 205 (-5) with rounds of 65-69-71, including an opening round that tied for the second-lowest in program history. Graduate student Megan Propeck finished T7 with a score of 208 (-2), while freshman Katelyn Huber made an impressive debut at the Gator Invitational, finishing T9 at 211 (+1). Senior Addison Klonowski rounded out the scoring with a 12th place finish at 212 (+2).
Another standout was sophomore Elaine Widjaja, competing as an individual, who secured a career-best 5th place with a score of 207 (-3). Overall, Florida led the field in par-4 scoring with an average of 3.95 and par-5 scoring at 4.89, while also recording the most birdies in the tournament with a total of 52.

This victory marked Florida’s fourth team title of the season and the 28th win in the history of the Gator Invitational, further solidifying their dominance in women’s college golf. Under the guidance of coach Emily Glaser, who celebrated her 40th tournament title, the team is looking forward to upcoming events, including the Clemson Invitational from March 27-29 and the SEC Championship set for April 17-21.
