Today marks the beginning of the much-anticipated 9th Annual Santa Fe Springs Plein Air Paintout, taking place from April 15 to April 17, 2026, in the charming town of High Springs, Florida. This vibrant event brings together 18 talented artists who will be painting en plein air along the picturesque Santa Fe River. The focus will be on the stunning springs, cypress-lined waterways, and the natural landscapes that define this beautiful region.

Throughout the three days, attendees will have the unique opportunity to observe the artists at work in three different locations. On April 15, you can catch the action at Rum Island Springs County Park, followed by a visit to Poe Springs Park on April 16, and finally, O’Leno State Park on April 17. This is not just a passive observation; there will be plenty of chances for interaction with the artists during the viewing days.
