Thanks to the prompt actions of law enforcement, the suspect was apprehended near the school within approximately seven minutes of the attacks. Immediate lifesaving measures were initiated for the two critically injured students; one was airlifted to a hospital in Pensacola, while the other was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
