Among them, Costco is making waves with plans for a sizable 161,780-square-foot store at the intersection of Nine Mile Road and Chemstrand Road, complete with a gas station and ample parking for 885 vehicles. Wawa is also pushing ahead, with approvals for multiple locations across Escambia County, reinforcing the area’s appeal for quick-service options.

Moreover, Escambia County’s first Del Taco is slated for construction at 404 Brent Lane, alongside other newcomers like Kids Empire, Jim ‚N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, and Dutch Bros.
