She bagged caramel corn, waited tables, and even ventured into bank and casino jobs. Her educational pursuits led her to earn an Associate Degree from the University of South Dakota, followed by attending Cosmetology School in Moses Lake, Washington. However, her business acumen shined brightest when she transferred to Central Washington University, earning degrees in Accounting and Business Management along with her CPA certification.

DesaRae’s successful career included stints at CPA firms, auditing firms, and equity firms. She took a significant step in her professional journey by founding CPA DES Consulting in Wesley Chapel, Florida, in 2022. In balancing her career path and providing for her family, she remained dedicated to her son, John, whom she loved dearly.
