For those looking to join the celebrations, Alachua County has quite the lineup. The biggest fireworks show in a small town will be held at Legacy Park—gates open at 5 PM on Saturday, July 4th. Early risers can catch the Newberry Parade downtown at 9 AM that same day. And let’s not forget the Fanfare and Fireworks at Flavet Field, University of Florida, starting at 6 PM on Friday, July 3rd. Festivities Across the Counties

Head over to Bradford County for the Starke Splash Bash at Bradford High School, starting at 2 PM on July 4th. Expect an impressive military flyover and, of course, fireworks to light up the night sky. A 5K kicks things off at 6 AM, followed by tournaments and a fireworks display at 9 PM on July 4th.

Columbia County is hosting a fundraiser for the Humane Society in Lake City starting at noon on Friday, July 3rd, and their Independence Day celebration at Columbia County Fairgrounds starts at 5 PM on Saturday, July 4th. Dixie County has a celebration at American Legion Post 383 starting at noon, along with a free community party at Horseshoe Beach at 10 AM on July 4th. It’s a joyful time for neighbors and friends to gather.

Don’t miss out on Gilchrist County’s 250th anniversary celebration at Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Trenton at 7:30 PM on July 3rd. Levy County is bustling, too, with a Rock & Roll Fireworks Parade in Bronson at 5 PM and several other events including a “Stars & Stripes Forever” parade in Williston on July 3rd. And let’s not forget Marion County, which has a full slate of activities including the “Stars, Stripes and Art” event at the Appleton Museum of Art, with free admission all July long!
