The excitement is palpable as we gear up for the SFACON 2026, hosted by the Special Forces Association. This year’s event is set against the stunning backdrop of Emerald Coast, Florida, with the main festivities taking place in Fort Walton Beach and at Camp “Bull” Simons. Mark your calendars for June 7 through June 12, 2026, because you won’t want to miss this gathering of heroes and their supporters!

It all kicks off on Sunday, June 7, with arrivals and registration from 5 PM to 8 PM. After checking in at the primary hotel, Home2 Suites, attendees will have the chance to mingle at the Welcome Social. There’s something about the sea breeze and the sound of waves that makes for the perfect atmosphere to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones!

Daily Highlights and Activities

As we dive into the week, Monday, June 8, will feature a Community Day at Camp “Bull” Simons, where activities and events promise to engage and entertain. Expect some evening festivities to keep the camaraderie going strong. Then, on Tuesday, June 9, we’ll gather at the Rigdon Center for briefings and updates—essential stuff for anyone involved in the community. And let’s not forget the symposium sessions that follow; knowledge is power, right? The day wraps up with a delightful evening at The Island Resort – Beachside, where the sunset views are sure to be breathtaking!

Midweek brings us to Wednesday, June 10, another day at the Rigdon Center with optional activities. This day is all about relaxation and fun with a Beach Day at Okaloosa Beach Military Park. Bring your sunscreen and perhaps a beach ball or two! Later, the SFACON National President’s Meeting will take place, keeping our leadership connected and informed.

Finally, on Thursday, June 11, we return to Camp “Bull” Simons for the closing ceremony and the grand SFACON26 Banquet. It’s a time to reflect, celebrate achievements, and look forward to the future while enjoying great food and company.
