Milton, Florida, United States - As summer stretches across Florida, it brings with it not just sweltering heat but also a call to the outdoors. For many, this means dusting off hunting gear and planning trips into the wild. However, before you set out, it’s crucial to ensure you’re well-prepared and safe. Enter the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), which is offering a series of free hunter safety internet-completion courses throughout Molino, Cantonment, Jay, and Milton to facilitate safe and responsible hunting practices.

The FWC aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for safe hunting through comprehensive training sessions. According to North Escambia, anyone born on or after June 1, 1975, must complete an approved hunter safety course to hunt unsupervised in Florida. Notably, the FWC course meets the hunter safety requirements across the United States and even in Canadian provinces.
