Other notable transitions include Lindsay Gallof, who has been the assistant principal of curriculum at Sarasota High School, now stepping up to lead Brookside Middle School. Likewise, Eric Idoyaga will make the move from Heron Creek Middle School to become principal of Englewood Elementary. Mindy Long, previously the principal of Alta Vista Elementary, will now guide Atwater Elementary School. Lastly, Meredith McArthur is set to replace Long as the new principal of Alta Vista Elementary, demonstrating the district’s commitment to internal growth and stability.
