The rest of the Fort Myers squad included Pedro Olave, Jackson Mills, and Noah Pruss, all scoring 78. Estero’s AJ White finished second overall with an even-par 72. Individual qualifications for regionals went to Riverdale’s Jacob Timmerman (74) and LaBelle’s Zachary Sutton (78), with Timmerman tying for third and Sutton tying for fifth.

The competition was equally fierce at the District 3A-11 Championship held at Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda. Here, Gateway finished second, trailing behind champion Charlotte by a whopping 25 strokes, yet secured a spot in regionals. Beau Rassatt led Gateway with a solid score of 1-under 71, while Felix Flores (89), Brock Schmidt (100), and Jacob Steuber (111) rounded out their scores.
