Get ready, Fort Myers Beach! The much-anticipated St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. Organized by the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club, this lively event will kick off on Saturday, March 14, at 10 AM from Santini Plaza. After a successful revival last year following Hurricane Ian, the club is excited to bring this festive celebration to the community once again. You can find all the details about the event on the Fort Myers Beach Talk.
The parade route will stretch from Santini Marina Plaza to the intersection of Estero Boulevard and Sterling Avenue, culminating at the Woman’s Club property located at 175 Sterling Avenue. Co-organizer Deb Nelson anticipates a larger turnout compared to last year, which is sure to make for a wonderful day filled with community spirit and Irish cheer!
Festivities and Fun at the After-Party
Following the parade, don’t miss the After-Party! It will take place on the grounds of the car wash next to the Woman’s Club (5669 Estero Blvd) from 11 AM to 5 PM. The After-Party promises a fantastic lineup, including two live bands, five food trucks serving up delicious Irish and Mexican cuisine, and of course, green beer! The full bar will open at 10:30 AM, so you can kick off the festivities early with some limited cocktails starting at 8:30 AM.
Entry to the After-Party is free, but be aware that parking will cost $10. VIP tickets have already sold out, but there’s a waitlist available for $100 per ticket, granting access to a private tent with exclusive seating and amenities. Plus, attendees can look forward to fun activities like raffles and a 50/50 drawing!
Parade Categories and Prizes
<pThis year's parade will feature a variety of categories for entries, including non-motorized floats, golf carts, motorcycles, and vehicles with trailers. There are enticing cash prizes for the best entries, with $500 for first place, $300 for second, and $200 for third. If you want to participate, you can sign up through the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club website.
The event serves not only as a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day but also as a fundraiser for the rebuilding of the Woman’s Club building, which was tragically destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022. The club has successfully raised nearly half of the funds needed for the reconstruction, showcasing the community’s support and resilience.

Mark your calendars for March 14 and come join in the fun as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with parades, music, food, and community spirit! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the holiday’s themes of green, gold, and good company, while also contributing to a worthy cause. Let’s make this year’s festivities unforgettable!
