To ease the journey, utilizing public transport is strongly recommended. The Bahnhof Süd is conveniently within walking distance of the festival grounds. Buses on lines 535, 378, 480, 482, and 341 will follow a detour, as the Castrop-Markt stop will be closed during the festivities.

Parking will also be a bit of a challenge during the Kirmes, as spaces at the Marktplatz, former Viehmarkt, and Stadtgarten parking lot will be unavailable. However, attendees can find alternatives at the Widumer Tor shopping center’s parking garage, as well as various lots along Im Ohr, Obere Münsterstraße/Altstadtring, Thomasstraße, and Herner Straße.
