A Celebration of Artistic Talent

As part of the Carnaval Miami festivities, Maria Fernanda Vogel has been chosen as the official poster artist for Carnaval Miami 2026. A contemporary artist of Nicaraguan-American descent, her work is deeply inspired by movement, music, heritage, and Latin American identity. Trained at the Accademia Europea di Firenze in Italy, Vogel’s art has been displayed internationally and resides in private collections across the U.S., Europe, and Central America. Her piece, titled “Llegamos Bailando”, beautifully encapsulates the spirit of Carnaval Miami.

Vogel’s original artwork will be auctioned off to support the educational and community programs of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, which aim to assist children and families in the community. Previous poster artists have included a list of talented individuals, showcasing the rich artistic heritage that Carnaval Miami continues to celebrate.
