The vibrant culinary scene of Lakewood Ranch has just welcomed a fresh face. Allswell, a gastropub with a flair for elevated comfort food, officially opened its doors on August 11, 2025. Located at 7500 Island Cove Terrace, Unit 102, this new eatery is poised to make waves, driven by the experience and passion of co-owner Tory Delany, who has roots in New York City’s bustling restaurant scene.
Delany, who moved to Lakewood Ranch in 2022, has successfully operated well-known establishments like The Malt House and Mezcali. Now, he aims to fill a niche for high-energy dining that boasts excellent service and top-quality food within this growing community. „There is a market here for elevated dining in a casual setting,“ Delany shared, capturing the essence of Allswell’s mission.

Guests at Allswell can expect a menu full of enticing options that elevate typical pub fare. The gastropub’s offerings include a diverse range of appetizers like buffalo chicken egg rolls and carne asada steak tartare, alongside hearty tavern favorites such as a double-patty smash burger and beef and mushroom pie. Operating hours extend from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Delany’s vision doesn’t stop here. Looking ahead to 2026, he plans to launch a traditional Irish restaurant called Delany’s Public House in the former McGrath’s space, which is expected to provide an „upscale“ yet authentic experience, including a general store for the community.
