Today is March 11, 2026, and we’re buzzing with excitement after an exhilarating weekend at the Buccaneer Invitational held at the beautiful Miami Shores Country Club. The Nova Southeastern University Women’s Golf team put on a stellar performance, showcasing their skills and teamwork on the green.

The Sharks clinched the team title with a total score of +26, completing rounds of 363, 374, and 377. Alexandra Remaklus and Mei Chan both finished in the top-10, while Maria Torres Lobato rounded out the team’s strong showing by placing in the top-15. The individual winner of the tournament was Leonie Sinnhuber from Barry University.

Standout Performances

Among the Sharks, Alexandra Remaklus and Mei Chan both finished with impressive final scores of +6, tying for seventh place. Remaklus started her first round with five consecutive pars, showcasing her consistency with final scores of 74, 72, and 73. Similarly, Chan kicked off her tournament with two birdies in her opening round, completing her rounds with scores of 68, 76, and 75.

Maria Torres Lobato also put forth a commendable effort, finishing in 13th place with a score of +9. She started strong, with five pars and two birdies in her first round, and her final scores were 70, 74, and 78. Lua Pousa Dacasa and Ariana Carvalho also contributed to the team’s effort, with final scores of +11 and +17, respectively.
