A remarkable tour of the historic Caboose, a 100-year-old Magor Cupola Caboose that has just undergone a stunning restoration. This isn’t just any caboose; it’s a piece of local history, symbolizing the region’s rich railroad heritage and standing proudly at the Trailhead Caboose, located at 286 N Apopka Avenue.
What makes this celebration even more special is the unveiling of the restored caboose, which has seen a lot of love and hard work from volunteers. The restoration was led by the dedicated members of the Friends of the Withlacoochee State Trail and was made possible by donations from over 800 cyclists who participated in the annual bike tour last October.
