Mark Your Calendars for August

As summer rolls on, keep an eye out for the Ka Tiki Event on Sunday, August 16 at 1:00 PM. This one’s at the Ka`Tiki Home in Treasure Island and promises to be a fun afternoon by the beach. Who doesn’t love a good gathering with sun, sand, and friends?

Looking ahead, let’s talk about the TIFD Annual Chili Cook-Off scheduled for February 20, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Treasure Island Community Center. It’s a chili lover’s dream! Enjoy music, prizes, and even a raffle while sampling some of the best chili around. Plus, it’s all for a good cause—supporting the Treasure Island Fire Association and its chosen charities. If you fancy yourself a chili chef, you can register to compete in either the “Open Class” or the “Firefighter Class”—who knows, you might just take home a special award!
